This is the Nepenthes “alata” (q x t) as purchased from Exotica Plants with alata(q) being their “Giant” form and alata(t) being from Luzon

they remained unnoticed for decades

my suspicion is that these will be consistent with the accepted eymae from Lumut

It blooms over a few days and produces a stench like carrion in order to attract its pollinators

Nepenthes truncata Pasian Red pmax_beginner This is the Nepenthes “alata”A red form of truncata found at intermediate and highland elevations in northern Mindanao. Though it's listed as a highland form, we have grown it under lowland to intermediate conditions with no issues. These are clones from Borneo Exotics. Plants for sale are BE 3203 which is a mix of 2 clones. This differs from BE 3707 which is a single clone. This product is considered a Intermediate Tropical plant.
