Denis Bachelet has run his tiny four hectare Gevrey Chambertin estate almost single handedly since 1983, building a cult reputation for finesse and perfume. His Bourgogne comes from vines just outside the village lines and gets the same painstaking, low intervention care as his grand crus. The 2023 is silky, pure, and gloriously drinkable young. It's the most accessible
